Mission Statement

Our Mission is to promote research into the causes, treatment and best care solutions for those patients diagnosed with a presently incurable neurodegenerative disorder, known as Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and other generally related disorders.

The Irish MND research foundation is a charity, established for the sole purpose of facilitating research into MND and generally related disorders.

The work of the MND Research Foundation involves:

Increasing public awareness of MND.

  • Medical personnel will be available to give talks and presentations to various groups.
  • Qualified personnel will be available to speak privately and confidentially to explain all aspects of current research.
  • All research findings will be made available to the public domain.

Fund raising will be carried out for the sole purpose of facilitating current and future research into MND.

  • If you would like to make a donation, please see our donation section or alternatively you can contact us directly.
  • We can also give advice on fund raising events.
  • Guidance on how to publicise your event will be given, with our charity logo provided through free posters, fliers and Information leaflets.
